Product Description:
DIN968 is a standard for cross groove pan head self tapping screws established by the German Institute for Standardization (DIN). These screws are commonly utilized for fastening connections between metal sheets and non-metallic materials.The groove configuration of the DIN968 self tapping screws adheres to the cross groove pattern, which can be in either H-type or Z-type. The screw end is equipped with a pointed tail (C-type) or a flat tail (F-type), making it suitable for self-tapping into hard materials. Moreover, the head of the screw is designed in a Pan Head structure with gaskets, and its diameter specifications range from ST2.9 to ST6.3.
Features:
DIN968 self-tapping screws are commonly manufactured from carbon steel with surface finishes such as galvanized or nickel plating, as well as from stainless steel grade SUS304 for corrosion resistance. The carbon steel variant of grade 8.8 offers a minimum tensile strength of ≥ 400MPa, while stainless steel grade A2-70 requires a strength level of ≥ 700MPa.These screws adhere to technical specifications that are in line with the international equivalent standard ISO 7049, ensuring consistency in their design and performance characteristics.
