Product Description:
DIN968 is a standard for cross groove pan head self tapping screws that was developed by the German Institute for Standardization (DIN). These screws are commonly used for fastening connections between metal sheets and non-metallic materials.
The DIN968 standard self tapping screws feature a cross groove (H-type or Z-type) and are available with a pointed tail (C-type) or flat tail (F-type), making them suitable for tapping into hard materials. The head of these screws is designed in a Pan Head structure with gaskets, and they come in diameter specifications ranging from ST2.9 to ST6.3.

DIN968 self-tapping screws are commonly manufactured from carbon steel (surface galvanized/nickel) and stainless steel (SUS304 for corrosion resistance). The carbon steel grade 8.8 boasts a minimum tensile strength of ≥ 400MPa, while the stainless steel grade A2-70 must adhere to a strength requirement of ≥ 700MPa.These screws align with the technical specifications of ISO 7049, reflecting an international standardization that ensures consistent quality across products.
